Release Notes

This is an interim release, until 0.5 is ready.

Tons of changes!
  • Separated system data from game data
  • Selected Warrior,Rougue, & Mage as our reference gaming system for game rules
  • System data goes on relational database - SQLite
  • Game data goes on document database - RavenDb
  • Fleshed out behavior based composition of MUD items
  • The majority of our systems are now dynamically loaded through MEF
  • Switched from NHibernate to ServiceStack.ORMLite. This has allowed us to make it easier to switch database backends without much trouble. SQLite and SQL Server (2005 and newer) are now supported. Please ask for SQL Server stuff in the forums. More databases will be supported as we near 1.0
The Debug Binaries contain both the console app and the Windows service.

Please use UniverseManagerLite to add/edit rooms and exits. This can be unzipped into the binaries folder (will overwrite dlls), or unzip into its own directory.
